The Way Love Goes

DE 2025, 153 min, Judith Keil, Antje Kruska

What impact do time and fate have on life, love and relationships? "The Way Love Goes"
follows four German couples over the course of seven years. Beginning with the hopeful
promise of lifelong companionship, each couple embarks on the journey of family life, navigating
the complexities of love, work, and parenthood. As the years progress and the blissful early
days make way for daily responsibilities and unexpected life events, each relationship endures
and transforms under the weight of time and circumstance. Revealing various dimensions of
love, loyalty, and resilience, "The Way Love Goes" shows that love is not only a destination, but
a journey filled with varying shades of passion, commitment, and vulnerability.
