Sára’s family home has been filled with a love of folk dance ever since her parents discovered this Budapest villa in 1989. Yet the house’s dark secrets have haunted her within these walls ever since her childhood. When she realizes that her old father will never speak again, she throws herself into researching the past to uncover the untold story of her home, which is closely intertwined with the history of her country. Her investigation ultimately becomes a deeply personal and political exploration of the collective memory that extends far beyond Hungary’s borders.
